Philosophy
My orthodontic training started at the Dental Clinic of the University of Bonn. It continues at conventions and seminars of the orthodontic community where I keep abreast of the progress being made worldwide in the field of orthodontics.
This enables me to pass on to you innovations that I am convinced of as soon as they reach the marketplace. Thus I can promise you the best of orthodontic consultation.
In orthodontic treatment aesthetics and function cannot be separated – they belong together. That is why at the end of orthodontic treatment there is so much more than meets the eye in a lovely smile.
What is “so much more”? It is the harmonious functioning of the teeth with the jaws, the face, the skull and yes, even the spine.
Wisdom teaches us that the outcome lies in the beginning. For us that means that the successful outcome of any treatment depends on the quality of the initial examination.
That is why I devote so much time and expertise to the thorough examination of the jaw structure, the x-rays and casts.
As a result of this thoroughness other colleagues may have to be involved in the treatment concept: dentists, oral surgeons, ear-nose-throat doctors, logopedic therapists or physiotherapists.
To sum it up: My aim is to offer you a treatment concept designed to your specifications and to your satisfaction with the maximum health benefit!
